YELLOW CORN FLOUR
Descrição
Cornmeal is a granular, slightly yellow powder obtained by grinding corn kernels. Do not confuse with cornstarch (Maizena). The former is made from whole corn kernels, while the latter is much finer, made from starch only, and is white in color. Commonly used in many cultures, cornmeal gives various preparations their characteristic slight yellow color. It contains a lot of starch and has a slightly sweet taste.
